Burnaby Mountain, Government Road, and newer builds elsewhere. Bigger basement footprints, higher ceilings, and often a walk-out door that removes the stair problem entirely. Full racks, Smith machines, and dual cable columns all fit.

Install day in Burnaby lives in two very different worlds. Four things we plan for before scheduling:
- Freight elevator booking. For high-rise builds we coordinate with the building manager to reserve the freight elevator and loading dock. Most Burnaby high-rises require 48 to 72 hours notice and some restrict deliveries to weekday mornings.
- Steep driveways. On Capitol Hill and Burnaby Mountain, driveways can be steep enough that a full-size cargo truck needs to unload from the street. We check the grade in advance and bring dollies rated for it.
- Interior stair-only access. Older detached homes rarely have walk-out basements. We measure the stair turn, doorway, and hallway route before finalizing the spec so nothing gets stuck.
- High-rise floor loading. Loaded plate racks, weight stacks, and Smith machines can exceed typical residential floor loading. We confirm the strata's specs first and swap pieces if needed.
